This is a fun cardio workout. The time goes by with the shorter increments. You can make it more intense by adding inclines or changing your speeds on the runs. New runners this is a great workout for you to start adding time on your runs and see how long you are able to run. And for some of us it is just a nice easy way to get 30-60 minutes of cardio done.
5-4-3-2-1 workout
5 min run 5 min walk
4 min run 4 min walk
3 min run 3 min walk
2 min run 2 min walk
1 min run 1 min walk
Repeat to get an hour of cardio!
